Black History Month (February) is a time to reflect on the past and use earlier lessons to imagine and work toward a better future. In 1926, Carter G. Woodson established Negro History Week. The celebration highlighted Black Americans’ history, lives, and contributions. In 1976, Negro History Week expanded to the month-long celebration we observe today. Black Americans continue to feel driven by the same societal issues that motivated Woodson a century ago. (bestcolleges.com) in celebration of Black History Month we have curated a collection of unique soap bars that are great for gifts and family members. This one is Rosa #7053 - in memory of,Rosa Parks. When she was arrested Ms. Parks’ booking number was #7053. Additional information about this soap: https://simonsudz.com/products/rosa-7053
